@jlecheminant95 Just to clarify that isn't what I said. The LDS people I know, do care for widows and orphans and many others (true religion). I was saying that religion doesn't save us. Trusting in the work that Jesus did on the cross for us is what saves us.

@ssmo3b Christ brought a new covenant (Hebrews 8). I'm trusting the blood of Christ to cover it all for me. There is nothing I can do to earn my spot in the presence of God for eternity (Romans 6:23).

@ssmo3b @ssmo3b I believe if you and Brad would take the time to have an authentic friendship with a "follower of Christ" you might find that they do do things that count in this life and in eternity. You may find that they have a deep abiding relationship with Jesus.
