So 8,000 vaccines later I said goodbye to this inspiring team today. Their passion and drive has amazed me daily. It has been a privilege to be part of this project during such a difficult period of time in all our lives. Thank you ❤️❤️@CatherinePelley @bandybadger @sshardy62
Extraordinary responses from some men who think it's completely acceptable for 50% of humanity to stay at home (- not always a safe place), or only leave home during daylight hours and /or only with a male chaperone, or risk abuse, violence, or murder from some men.
Came to the ED today with an unwell child. Everyone involved, inc porter and radiographer, was calm, kind, helpful and reassuring. Thank you Niamh for your thorough examination inc CT head scan (normal). Lucky us to have the Homerton as our local hospital. Thank you @EDHomerton!
@caoimheOTagnew@NHSHomerton@OT_Ciara We’re so proud of you, @OT_Ciara@inesOTmalheiros and Ellen for stepping into the most challenges of areas in the middle of a pandemic to support our acute colleagues (doing nights as well!) Thank you all for everything you’ve done at such a difficult time.
1/3 As I finish my last redeployment shift in ICU I am faced with bittersweet feelings. I am happy to go back full time to my job and with new exciting opportunities ahead, but I will miss the people and patients I got to know along the way.

Loving the Poetry Unbound podcast for those rare moments of reflection. This one about a poem for healthcare workers: “It isn’t just the skill that they have...It’s also the presence of being there with a voice: to speak, to listen, to observe, to watch” https://t.co/hrddFuEgyC
@NHSHomerton Great video starring Patience and Angela, and sending a really positive message about the vaccination to all staff, especially our colleagues from BAME communities. Well done everyone involved ! @eley_joanna@CatherinePelley@sshardy62@awesome_pyt
Take a look inside Homerton's COVID vaccination hub and join Patience on her vaccine journey. Patience also talks about why she decided to get the vaccine after being hesitant at first.
Our vaccination hub is open for walk in appointments for all staff

@carloprina I am absolutely delighted to be able to support colleagues who have done, and continue to do, a tremendous job in providing care and life-saving work around the clock. Looking forward to giving vaccination no. 2 very soon.
'Thank you to all our NHS staff for making this happen. Thank you, too, to our volunteers that are part of our team.’
@CNOEngland Ruth May shares thanks to all #OurNHSPeople who have been vital in delivering millions of #COVIDVaccines across the country. #ThankYouNHS
