Teachers always bring your best, but remember that even that will change day to day. Don’t buy into the hype you have to be all in all the time and be perfect every minute of every day. You’re human. Some days you will be excellent and some days surviving will be your victory.
Teacher, as you finish the week strong, remember your best is ENOUGH! You bring a unique set of talents and strengths that no one else does. Stop comparing! Be You! You’re Enough!
Education is not about test scores or grades. Those are arbitrary by-products of the educational process. True education is bringing out the talents, strengths, and passions of our students to help them be exponentially more successful in life.
Today is a good day to:-
Love someone.
Forgive someone.
Encourage someone.
Help someone.
Celebrate someone.
Acknowledge someone.
Affirm someone.
Support someone.
Listen to someone.
Rejoice with someone.
Weep with someone.
Apologize to someone.
Pray for someone.
Teaching is relational. Teachers who have knowledge about their students will be better able to teach them. This is what makes remote learning tougher, so teachers make sure to devote time to building those relationships even virtually.
The Japanese soccer team just left their locker room looking spotless with a thank you note even after losing a World Cup match yesterday. No one is too good to sweep the sheds or clean up after yourself! Culture begins with how you act when no one is looking! #culturize#legacy
Recruits, as I recap the past weeks on the road the biggest thing I’ve notice is that a lot of guys have failed themselves in the classroom. Guys want offers but haven’t taken the advice offered by their teachers and coaches. Showing up and trying is half the battle!
