#iOS @ Uber #Swift, #Objc, BE with #Laravel and #Golang, Web with whatever is trending at the moment. I write articles π, songs πΈ and verbose code π¨βπ»
I wrote an article about using @taylorotwell 's new Airlock #Laravel package to create a simple backend for user authentication. What you'll learn:
π§ How to set up the package
πΊ How to create the routes
π± How to consume the api from a #swift#ios app

Statically typed links are coming to @nextjs:
β Autocompletion
β Error on invalid routes
β Prevents 404 links during build
β Dynamic, catch-all, and optional catch-all routes
β Works with both `pages` and `app`
β No extra configuration needed!
@IvanMartinac Were you able to nicely override an existing dependency from a certain part of the View tree? E.g. use a separate instance of a class for a specific View and its subviews?
Also curious if this is compile-time safe or if it comes with the runtime crashes of the environment π
As with all dependency frameworks that I try, Iβm mainly interested in getting a hierarchical dependency tree to work. If I can achieve that I think I feel fully equipped to build SwiftUI apps π
In love with βif and switch as expressionsβ, this future #Swift feature! Iβve wanted this ever since I first used it in Kotlin π

It's happeniiiiiiing π Microservices with Go, service discovery using Consul, reporting service health...
It doesn't come close to the scale of things at my day-job, but it's the first step towards figuring out how to scale a system beyond a monolith :)
UI Colors is now on Product Hunt π₯³
Based on feedback I've improved the way colors are generated and added a "Save" functionality.
A product is never done, but I've decided to give it a go anyway.

Github activity graph in 2022 vs 2020. One of these years I started and failed two startups while having a full-time job, the other year I barely wrote code when I'm not at work. I think 2022 was a healthy year for me π
