@ajdc123 We headed out to Belgium for the tour of Flanders at Easter tied in with Amsterdam. Apple pie had to be consumed as did windmill spotting on the double decker trains.
Here’s our apple pie in Amsterdam at this cafe⬇️
@Petekennaugh Depends on the sport and time of day! Swimming bbc got it right, evening athletics too much punditry- too many people on the sofa whereas Jess Jeannette and J J good. So we switch bbc and Eurosport. We want to see all events !
@nuddypants Love the thread ! And the dot watching too! We walked from torside to marsden recently on Pennine way - loved it!
Fantastic result! Hope u r enjoying all the cake and coffee u can lay your hands on x
@nuddypants Great day! Loved it all for different reasons- and no rain! We will complete Pennineway even if 5 or 10 years!
Got the train back from Marsden to Piccadilly and back home.
It’s not surprising u love the hills!Good luck with your poles and the summer spine x
@JamesMoir10@skytv@nancy_sorrell We too saw dippers in Derbyshire but coming down Kinder scout in a babbling brook, also heard the cuckoo, skylark and the curlew. Here’s a little sketchbook of birds/wildlife I’ve see this year. Loving the new series #paintingbirdswithjimand Nancy moir @skyarts
@nedboulting @millarmind@RondeVlaanderen Totally agree, we were on the Kwaremont and then in the fan zone. Fabulous day with vibes of Glastonbury’s mud and loos! Entertainment factor high on and off the cobbles
