@rapplerdotcom ...in Recto Bank. This suspension was issued by the Cabinet Cluster on Justice and Security, presumably over dears of China. So BBM can indeed order them to lift it. Moreover, the SC has declared joint partnership unconstitutional. Foreign companies may only sign on as contractor

@bilyonaryo_ph Compared to top nickel miner Indonesia which has more than 10 nickel smelters, second placer Philippines has only 2. @iamMVP said to justify investment in smelters there has to be more nickel mining. Investments on those proposed plants will depend on the state of the industry.
