@NewYorker David Remnick had a fascinating aside in his recent McCartney profile about hanging with jazz great Teddy Wilson. Wilson's grave is 100 yards from my back door (New Britain, CT) but I've had no luck learning what brought the great man here. Anyone?

@itsMaxDigital 1/2 Most card issuers monitor credit scores as part of routine account management. If your score drops a lot (typical with foreclosure), they could see you as a greater credit risk. Depending on policy, they could hike interest rate or lower borrowing limit...
If Trump’s goal was really to get a better deal on the budget, he would have vetoed it immediately and begun negotiating.
