Grassroots Republican. Harris County GOP Pct. 296 Chairman. SW Houston, Sharpstown, Gulfton. Conservative. America First 🇺🇸 🇨🇱 Married to Polska Princess.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m enjoying watching Democrats and some establishment Republicans absolutely lose their minds over Jane Nelson resigning. Why? Because they know the days of Democrats crossing over to rescue Republican RINOs may be coming to an end. The panic is real. For years, the establishment relied on Democrats helping pick weak, squishy Republicans. Now they’re realizing Republican primaries might actually be decided by… Republicans.
Imagine that.
This can’t happen soon enough. 🍿
Recently, I have taken time to reflect on what Abraham George (@abrahamgeorge) truly means to the Republican Party of Texas—and the answer is clear: he is one of the most steadfast, battle-tested leaders we have.
Chairman George has led through a whirlwind tenure marked by relentless pressure, yet he has never failed to show up. On the eve of his own mother’s funeral, he stood in the room at the third quarter SREC meeting in 2024. That is the kind of character that defines real leadership.
Chairman George worked with all of the stakeholders to deliver a resounding Republican victory in Texas in 2024 for President Trump (@realDonaldTrump). He is already working with RNC Chairman Gruters (@JoeGruters) to have great success in Texas in 2026!
Chairman George doesn’t just talk about fighting for conservatives—he shows up for them. This fall, he traveled to Houston to stand shoulder to shoulder with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX), Michael Berry (@michaelberrysho), Kenny Webster (@KennethRWebster), and the courageous students at Stratford High School who dared to form a Club America chapter (@clubamerica_shs) in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. He was there, on the front lines, when it counted. Thank you, Turning Point USA (@TPUSA) and Turning Point Action (@TPAction) for all that you do for the fight.
At the same time, I have watched with growing alarm as forces inside our own party deliberately work to intentionally sabotage the very foundation that Chairman Rinaldi (@MattRinaldiTX) and Chairman George spent years building. These are the same men who took our party from where it was and moved it to where it needed to be—stronger, bolder, and more principled. Now, as we face coordinated attacks from within, we cannot afford weakness or division.
Abraham George has proven he has the spine, the vision, and the unwavering commitment to keep us moving forward. He fights for the grassroots, he fights for conservative values, and he fights for the future of our state and our country. He leads and he wins!
I am with Chairman George all the way. No hesitation. No compromise.
Looking forward to partnering with the next Secretary of State to strengthen election integrity, secure our elections, and advance one of our highest priorities: closing the Republican primary so Republican nominees are chosen by Republican voters. #Winning@TexasGOP
I’m honored to have the endorsement of Matthew Cone.
Matthew has been a dedicated conservative activist who has spent years fighting for Republican values, supporting grassroots engagement, and working to strengthen our movement across Texas. His commitment to the principles of faith, freedom, and limited government has earned the respect of conservatives throughout our state.
I’m grateful for Matthew’s support and his confidence in the direction of the Republican Party of Texas. Thank you, Matthew, for your endorsement and for your continued dedication to the conservative cause.

Q- What is @CoveyTX ‘s plan to close the primary?
I want to hear his real plan to close it.
What attorney does he want to hire?
What are the details of his plan?
Is it a secret plan?
I want to apologize to the divisive legacy media that I've been harsh to over recent weeks.
I'm apologizing because I wasn't harsh enough. You didn't get the best version of me. And for that, I'm sorry.
This is just the beginning. It's about to get way worse.
I sat down with former RPT Chairman Matt Rinaldi (@MattRinaldiTX) to talk about where I came from, how I got involved in the Republican Party, and the work we’ve been doing over the last two years.
We talked about the fight to close our primaries, the 2024 election cycle, passing 47 legislative priority bills, growing grassroots influence at the Capitol, and raising the resources needed to keep the Party strong.
I appreciate Matt’s friendship, his endorsement, and all the work he’s done over the years to help build a stronger Republican Party in Texas. If you have a few minutes, give it a watch and let me know what you think.

Why do people keep talking about ethics as if it’s some software package we forgot to install??
As if we can just add another block of instruction, another PowerPoint, another doctrine publication, and suddenly produce more ethical soldiers.
Most ethics are learned long before someone ever puts on a uniform. From the values of the nation itself.
The military can reinforce standards. It can teach discipline, explain the law of war, and provide guidance for difficult situations.
What it CANNOT do is rebuild a person’s moral foundation from scratch between motor pool Monday and a field exercise.
The academic class talks about ethics the way medieval alchemists talked about turning lead into gold.
They imagine some esoteric process far more powerful than reality.
It’s dented.

Yes, when only Republicans get to vote in our primary we get more conservative candidates who become better elected officials.
Let’s get this done in Texas!
Every state legislature should be working to close its primaries.
Notice what happened as soon as Louisiana changed its primaries — Senator Cassidy lost on the first round.
CC: Texas
It's funny to mock James Talarico, but his candidacy is no joke. As Senator, he will vote 100% of the time with Chuck Schumer. He will vote for amnesty if it comes to the Senate floor and will work with Democrats to re-open our borders if they take power again. Texas needs to firmly reject him and elect Ken Paxton.
