Remembering how back during the 2020 primary when it looked like Bernie would win, CNN panicked and started booking me and a few other Bernie lefties semi-regularly. Then Clyburn made his move, Biden won SC, the other candidates dropped out to make way for Biden and I haven’t seen the inside of a CNN green room since lol. Funny to think about now that I see a few ppl on CNN and MSNBC admitting maybe Bernie had a point. These networks have always had room for NeverTrumpers (who basically only exist on cable news) and even actual Trumpers, but almost completely shut out the populist left. Somehow their commitment to a diversity of viewpoints conveniently excludes the one ideology that threatens capital’s bottom line.
