@rossdybvig Given our last 2 DFL governors, I'd argue the stigma of not agreeing to abide by the endorsement has lessened. Nothing wrong w/seeking endorsement when you are clear about primary intentions. But agreeing to abide, and then running in a primary, is certain to alienate some folks.

@rossdybvig I agree the process is not optimal, but endorsing conventions and primaries serve different purposes. Candidates should have the courage to tell convention delegates if they don't plan to abide or are undecided. Delegates can actually understand nuance.
