Brock Wright has 43 receptions in 3 yrs with us with 7 TDs. He is obviously not LaPorta but still he's a good blocking TE who can catch it. glad they matched the 49ers offer.

If Holmes plans on moving up in the draft then I guess don't trade 4 another CB. Yet he could also go the other way by moving back in the draft from the 1st rnd & acquire more picks. So if he wanted 2 do that then Det could still part with a 3rd rnder 4 another CB like Lattimore.

I don't believe it would cost a arm & a leg 2 trade 4 N.O. CB Lattimore as much as it would 4 K.C. CB Sneed. Lattimore may be able 2 be had 4 a 3rd rnder or even both of Det 25' 4ths. Lattimore's the best youngest CB out there 2 trade 4 & not break the 🏦.

The Lions could probably trade a existing player & a 2024 6th & a 2025 4th rnder for CLE CB Greg Newsome. He'll if it takes more then whatever. Just go get a established CB now since Sutton is gone & then draft one & develope him.

It sounds like if the NFL steps in if Sutton is guilty & they suspended him for awhile then Det isn't on the hook for all of his deal this yr. So innocent until proven guilty but if he's guilty then NFL suspend his ass!!!

If I'm reading this right Sutton's dead cap hit this yr is a 19.2 mill hit. 22 of the 33 mill was guaranteed! I just don't know if there's language in the contract 4 legality reason's if he's in trouble. Potential out is 2025 of a 6.5 mill dead cap hit.
