@navarroc0821 For me it’s time zones and time constraints. It makes it hard to watch anything live, especially if it’s more than an hour or so. I’m more likely to catch VOD when I have downtime or while doing other activities like painting minis, etc.
@BDaveWalters Floppy disks.
Phone books.
Listening to the radio on a cassette player hoping for the song you liked and trying to hit record so you didn’t miss it but you didn’t get too much before it started.
@JamesIntrocaso Creating interesting and engaging NPCs, especially on the spot in-session, and then trying to keep track of them throughout the campaign. Players love to go back to obscure NPCs and that break in immersion I feel when I’m stumbling to recall gets me every time.
@JamesIntrocaso Finding ways to tie the characters into the world and the campaign. Building in arcs specific to each and creating opportunities for them to explore. If I can sprinkle in a few Easter eggs and nods to other systems, settings, and their real life interests that’s a bonus.
Got #MidnightSuns for PS5 as a surprise for Xmas. Got started and was delighted to hear @matthewmercer 😊 Between CR and all the video games, it’s funny how you can feel like you’re playing with an old friend that you’ve never even met 🤷♂️
@sherlock_hulmes I don’t think spells are integral but magic is. Changing Ranger or Paladin spells to magic or extra sensory abilities similar to how lay on hands and divine sense already work would be fine and maybe, since they’re more martial classes, even preferable to prepared spells.
@LittleNommer That’s exactly how I felt about getting Glamdring to make this exact display. The Shards were a Christmas present, Sting I wore at my wedding in 2007, and it took me until 2018 to get Glamdring, which has its own whole story.
