@soccersource@AliceTalksFooty@vkon1 Tonali is a proper box to box midfielder, they both are but Fernandes the more defensive of the two, a lit of running in that Spurs midfield now, can finally move the ball forwards all the time.
@Unitedworl80664@AliceTalksFooty Liverpool will be a different proposition under Iraola than they were under Slot. Not saying they'll win the league but they'll be in contention for longer thsn last season.
@AVFC_Connor_ Does it really matter? I'm a Spurs fan but I've got nothing against Villa & think they're a massive club. Probably similar stature but Surs are the bigger brand globally.
@Yelnats_M@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT We got 3 players on a free as well though, we've over paid a bit for the 3 we paid for but there's been plenty of transfers that were worse value.
@jhlim4844@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT And we were battling over teams with money to sign them, sometimes you just got to be willing to do what no one else is.
@D34NN34L@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT Look at the players we've missed out on cos Levy didn't think they were good value. Grealish, Luis Suarez, Bruno Fernandes, etc. Then signed players like Ndombele, Sanchez & Lo Celso, Gil for how much he did, at least we're over paying for premiership experience.
@Miller_flash@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT I dont like Joao Palhinha leaving but I can see why now, Vuskovic has no experience in the league & it's possible to get him back with the matching clause, Vicario I don't mind leaving, I think anyonevelse who goes it's because they want to leave.
@hamwod@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT I think we're getting better value for Tonali than Citeh are for Anderson. I don't get the hype around him, he just runs round without much direction, I think him, Madueke & Spence were the weakest players in the starting 11 last game, Rashford had a bad game as well.
@afaldo_@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT After the last two seasons in the league I'd rather over pay & get the right guys than under pay, get beaten to the signings we wanted & end up with kids with little to no premiership experience again.
@AndyKinch1@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT Yeah & they'll probably be more out goings than signings so the net spend will be a bit less than it is now. Vuskovic & Veliz will be gone, Bissouma contract expired, 2 loans havr finished, hopefully Moore & Lankshear will be in the first team even just as back up.
@stevejnorris@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT We can start being more prudent with money again after next season when we're not fighting to stay in the league.
@SpursInsight_@talkSPORT Well paying not enough got us 17th twice, only avoiding relegation on the last day last season, over paying at this stage is gonna be cheaper than getting relegated. Let's not forget they'll be a few out goings to balance the books as well, & we over paid cos of other clubs.
@keithcb49@KallumStubbs97@jayzeedaily £80m that I've seen reported & I think Bournemouth have to have a long hard think about it, probably just speculation though.
