FEMA is cutting Puerto Rico off from food and water aid. Doesn’t that seem premature? Amid the fracas about memos and such, don’t miss the truly strange and cruel actions that this administration is taking. https://t.co/OhC6Z0eeWJ
Ivo H. Daalder was the U.S. Permanent Representative on the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) from May 2009 to July 2013. He is a specialist in European security. He also served as a member of the staff of United States National Security Council (NSC) https://t.co/2ElWChwS10
The unprecedented nature of what the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) did today cannot be overstated: known Trump agent and recused committee member Devin Nunes invoked a rule that has NEVER BEEN USED IN FORTY YEARS to launch a partisan attack on the FBI.
Responsibility of Attorney General to protect DOJ components from political pressure - not to be a part of that pressure. Chris Wray understands that. FBI filled with people who do their jobs in a non political way - including Andy McCabe. https://t.co/yUDssEdBYe
.@LindseyGrahamSC-With the departure of Andrew McCabe at the FBI & reports Trump tried to fire Mueller, it’s become clear you need to get off your keister & pass a bill to #ProtectMueller from being fired by Trump immediately. Everyone who retweets this agrees, you need to hurry.
Everything hinged on sanctions. trump gets help from Putin, trump makes sure no sanctions on Russia. State Dept has just said that they will not impose sanctions passed by congress. Constitution crisis came the day trump was sworn in.
If Paul Ryan had been leader of the Republican Party during Watergate, Nixon would have finished his term and had an airport named after him https://t.co/Cci6xl9gPA
Watching the House GOP bend over backward to undermine our institutions in order to protect Donald is like watching a fish on a dock struggling with its final breaths. November can't come soon enough. https://t.co/xaQ5pVZiSt
As a Member of the Foreign Affairs Cmte, I find the weakness shown by @realDonaldTrump towards Russia to be deeply troubling. Sanctions law was not just to deter Russia, but to hold it accountable for hacking our democracy. Russia shouldn't get a mulligan. https://t.co/x2Ig2ZAoHC
SARAH SANDERS: Donald Trump is fully “cooperating” with the Russia Investigation.
THE TRUTH: Donald Trump fired James Comey, tried to fire Robert Mueller, forced out Andrew McCabe and has repeatedly attacked the FBI.
That is not called cooperating.
That is called OBSTRUCTION.
Donald Trump won the White Evangelical Christian vote by a margin of 64 points, 80%-16%
It's shameful these people demonized a decent man like Barack Obama and tirelessly praise an indecent, racist, bigoted, lying, adulterous man like Trump...
I have always loved America, but to have @realDonaldTrump as President is making us a laughing stock. Don’t ruin a great country with trash. Some of us love America without a racist running it. #GRAMMYs https://t.co/Hwdicw8azw
Just today: Trump admin declined to impose new Russia sanctions, a top FBI official probing Trump&Russia was forced out, and House Intel R's voted to release a classified memo that purports to undermine Russia probe. Also, DOJ/FBI are officially under investigation by HPSCI R's.
The only check left between Trump and Mueller is Rod Rosenstein. We must make a commitment that if anything happens to Rosenstein, we march immediately. It's better to stop a tyrant before he strikes.
If the Nunes memo is released, Congressman Schiff and other members of Congress should read the Schiff report and all other underlying documents on the House floor—just like Senator Gravel read the Pentagon Papers into the record in 1971. It's their constitutional right—and duty.
