As a trusted global provider of security solutions, Westminster Group is proud to continue engaging with key international partners and explore opportunities in trade and national infrastructure security.
We’re excited to announce that Westminster Group has secured a £1.15 million contract extension to deliver an advanced parliamentary broadcast system for the debating chamber of an East African national parliament.
Commenting on the new contract award, Westminster's Chief Executive Officer, Peter Fowler, said:
"I am particularly pleased to be able to announce this significant extension contract for the East African Parliament, so soon after the initial contract award was announced on 30 June 2025. At that time, I stated we expected to secure an even larger additional contract award and the fact this came so soon after the initial award is an indication of the customer's confidence in Westminster and the hard work of our development teams. The project is expected to be largely, if not completely, delivered in the current financial year.
"These are important new technology contract awards. Plus, we have large-scale managed services projects such as Gabon which is now live, and others coming on stream hopefully later this year, such as DRC, which has been helped by the recent peace talks and other developments. These together with our current run rate business, provides an encouraging start to the new financial year."
We're looking for a talented Project Engineering Manager to join us in Gabon, supporting four airports with critical security operations. If you have a strong background in Security Screening Technologies, IP systems, and Health & Safety — and you're fluent in both French and English — this could be an exciting next chapter.

#AXX#AIM - A look at the #AIMALLSHARE chart and we have a lovely flush and hold of major support back in April
The recovery since then has been impressive and i would expect us to find our way back to this key 950-975 area
Fits with my thesis of 6-12 month bull market for AIM
We have secured a new £220,000 contract to deliver a cutting-edge personnel screening solution for a global science and chemicals company, protecting one of their key sites in the UK.
This follows two other technology contract awards worth around £680,000, announced just last week, highlighting the strong momentum within our Technology Division.
Westminster CEO Peter Fowler commented:
"Following our announcement of two technology contract awards, valued at circa £680,000 on 30 June 2025, I am pleased to be able to announce our Technology Division has secured another important contract award for a new global customer.
"This contract award further reinforces Westminster's reputation for delivering world-class security technologies to high-profile, mission-critical environments around the world."

#WSG This contract waiting in the wings. Peace treaty just signed between DRC and Rwanda (orchestrated by the USA). Should here more implementation noises by year end...it's a very large contract!
'Based on current international embarking passenger levels, the contract is expected to generate revenues of circa US$10m in the first 12 months of operation. In addition, there is an opportunity under the contract for further revenues, in due course, from domestic traffic and cargo screening operations.'
Lots to come for #WSG
🔸New tech contracts
🔸Expansion of African Parliament contract
🔸TEMA port news
🔸UK security deals (Martyn's Law)
🔸DRC rollout
The company is profitable based on Gabon figures. All the above will hit the bottom line. Big rerate in H2 - long overdue 🤞
This adds to #WSG's multiple irons in the fire.
CEO couldn't be clearer about what's to come, more 💰 💰 added to the bottom line.
"This contract is just the initial part of what we expect to be an even larger final project and is expected to be completed this calendar year”
Westminster Group is proud to share that we have been awarded a contract to implement a sophisticated audio-visual system for an East African Parliament.
The project involves the design and installation of a state-of-the-art multimedia conferencing platform, broadcast-quality IP cameras, and a comprehensive audio system. This will enable high-quality recording and broadcasting of parliamentary sessions to media outlets and social media platforms.
Commenting on the award, Westminster Group’s CEO, Peter Fowler, stated:
“The East African Parliament contract, which our teams have been pursuing on for some time, is located in one of our target countries and offers considerable scope for our services. To have secured this prestigious contract for the country's parliament is an accolade to our global reach and reputation. This contract is just the initial part of what we expect to be an even larger final project and is expected to be completed this calendar year.”
We look forward to delivering this important project and exploring further opportunities for collaboration in the region.
