У 2016 році росіяни вбили чоловіка Вікторії Дрипан. Він мав іти у відпустку через три дні, але не встиг.

Жінка вирішила: вона продовжить його справу, щоб загибель коханого не була марною.

Сьогодні Вікторію знають як Валькірію - позивний, який дали побратими за її войовничий характер і блискавичну реакцію.

Вона командує відділенням пілотів FPV 421-го батальйону "Сапсан" на Сумщині.

В армію пішла у 2019 році. Служила в 95-й бригаді, була головним сержантом роти РЕБ у ТРО, але постійно відчувала, що може більше.

А тому вона перевелася ближче до фронту, де тепер разом із побратимами нищить ворожі укриття.

Цікаво, що її командир спочатку категорично не хотів брати жінку в підрозділ. Але коли Валькірія прийшла, питання гендеру зникло.

У них немає значення, хто ти - чоловік чи жінка. Разом виїжджають на позиції, сплять у бліндажах, вантажать машини. Просто роблять свою роботу.

Родина Вікторії теж на війні: батько - на евакуації техніки, один брат - на складі, інший - пропав безвісти.

Вона переживає за них, але вони тримаються разом. Батько каже: "Я не можу піти в СЗЧ, бо в мене донька служить".

Вдома на Валькірію чекають дві дитини - донька 12 років і син 4 роки. Вона говорить із ними щодня. Сумує неймовірно, але всі розуміють: зараз треба довести справу до кінця.

"Ми ЗСУ-котики. Ми теж няшні, муркаємо, хочемо ніжності. Але при цьому робимо свою роботу", - посміхається Вікторія.

На Сумщині, де вона воює, бойові дії надзвичайно інтенсивні. Лінія фронту змінюється щодня. Але Валькірія вірить у перемогу.

"Ми стоятимемо до останнього, поки не настане цей день".

Capital One Financial hit back against a lawsuit over its decision to close ‌the Trump Organization's bank accounts years ago, stating that it did so after a review by anti-money laundering experts.

The disclosure marks the first time a bank has formally tied money laundering concerns to Trump's clownishly corrupt family business.

Capital One is seeking to dismiss ​the case by casting doubt on claims of illegally debanking — or denying services on religious or political grounds — ​the Trump Organization.

Ukrainian National Guard soldier Vladyslav survived torture by Russian forces, who slit his throat and threw him into a pit. He managed to escape and crawled for five days to reach Ukrainian positions. He documented everything in his diary. His relatives say that despite the severity of his injuries, he is considering returning to the front once his health allows. For now, his main wish is to reunite with his four-year-old daughter.

Putin really has planned an attack on Europe, and NATO should therefore plan to eliminate him. Taking Königsberg back would be great, but Putin must fear for his own life, not for the fate of Kaliningrad, which he does not care about.

The Kremlin needs an unmistakable warning: if Russia attacks NATO, its political and military leadership will face devastating consequences, and Russia will pay an unbearable price.

That is the kind of deterrence needed to prevent a looming catastrophe. When decisive action was needed in Ukraine, the West hesitated. Now that the threat is predictably moving toward the West itself, it is time to show the resolve that was missing four years ago.
