The LORD Himself fights for you - wow!

What a marvelous reality. If the Bible was not so clear in this, it would seem too much. God, Himself, fights for His people. God, Himself, is at work in our lives. Help us to believe and live in this and trust You more Lord!

Pray! O how we need to be a people of prayer…more, better than we are. O how I need to pray more better than I do!

I want to be consistent in prayer

I want to be alert in prayer respond with prayer!

I want to be thankful in prayer

Today, I find myself thinking how often I almost need to attach balloon’s to my thoughts…and let them be pulled above, thinking of heaven and the future. That seeing things with an eternal perspective changes everything.

God’s Word, the Bible, is right!
In a sin tainted world that messes up everything, it is delightful to rest on God and His Word. His Word is true, perfectly truth. He never says what He does not mean, He never promises what He will not fulfill, He is never wrong.

I want to WALK in Him - today, moment by moment with Him
I want to be ROOTED in Him - drawing all of my life from Him
I want to be BUILT UP in Him - growing, more in HIm

God’s will is best for our lives

We can know God’s will

Knowing God’s will comes through wisdom. Knowing God and His Word

Knowing God’s will comes through spiritual understanding. God directs steps

Let us not cease to pray for this!

I love God’s ways and want them!

God is working in the lives of His kids…faithfully

God is working in us to WILL, to want, to desire

God is working in us to DO, power, enabling power

God is working for HIS GOOD PLEASURE…what He has for us

Lord, I love this and want this.

Don’t be as stubborn as a mule!

Lord, help me not to be stubborn like a mule or as rambunctious as a horse!

Instead
Help me hear and heed Your instruction, Your teaching
Help me to know the ways I should go
Help me live under Your tender care with a responsive heart

Schemes accomplish what a curse can not.

How seriously we need to take the devil’s schemes! Expect them, be on guard and stand strong in the whole armor of God. If we do, we will be able to stand against the wiles (or schemes) of the devil.

Find out what pleases God and do that!

Christian, we were darkness…now we are light in the LORD!

Joyfully, God’s plan is that this be fruit of the Spirit, not works of our flesh

May we be learning, growing, finding out what God has done and what pleases Him…and let’s do that

God means what He says and says what He means!

In a broken world, this is so good and comforting.
Every person we know and don’t know are sinners. They speak things untrue and need to repent.

But God is God and He is altogether perfect, unlike people
He says and He will do.

Today is Pentecost!

Today is a reminder of what is available to us as Christians - Power...enabling power from above through the Holy Spirit!

Lord, I need power, I need help! And with joy I seek what You have laid out for us...Holy Spirit fill me afresh!
