Mrs. Zehrer's 1st grade students were each recently assigned a penguin species to research as part of a STEM challenge. They researched its appearance, where it lives, its predators, what it eats, and gave one interesting fact about it. #MillwoodSchool#1stGradeSTEM
The 7th Grade Physical Science class has been learning about mechanical waves. Using a spring toy, they modeled the different ways that transverse and longitudinal waves move. In the second lab, we were able to see how waves move around different barriers. #MillwoodSchool
