Josh Rojas played in two games in two states for two teams today. Landed in Minneapolis at 9pm before hitting the pinch hit go-ahead RBI in his Royals debut. Unreal
Josh Rojas went 1-for-3 in Triple-A today, missed his first flight to Minneapolis, caught the second one, arrived at Target Field around the eighth inning and knocked in the winning runs for the #Royals in the ninth.
He called the day “adventurous.” Sums it up!
Josh Rojas played earlier today with Triple-A Omaha & went 1-for-3 with a double.
Then he got on a flight to Minneapolis and arrived at Target Field in time to deliver a pinch-hit, go-ahead, two-run single in the 9th inning in his first at-bat as a Royal.
Incredible.
@anne__rogers How disappointing! Maybe Bailey needs to look in the mirror. He’s been a disaster in a Royals uniform since day one. He needs to own that.
@CRH_fanatic I just said the exact same thing to my son. Falter is the worst pitcher I’ve ever seen in a big league uniform. This guy needs to be released tomorrow. The Royals don’t have a chance tonight, sadly.
No idea if that’s off the cuff or partially prepared, but impressive from Fred Hoiberg in an emotionally charged moment to deliver that speech to that team.
So much appreciation for that group and a lot of excitement for the future.
"Yeah, I don't have to buy him anything now." 😂

41-year Nebraska announcer Kent Pavelka’s (@KentPavelka) call of the end of #4 Nebraska’s win over #5 Vanderbilt and advancement to their first Sweet 16
I have zero dog in the fight for this Nebraska Vanderbilt game, for god sakes I’m an engineer out of Tacoma Washington but these refs seem to hate the Huskers. Nebraska fans are impressive by the way, travel well.
