@Tuffers56@RichSCawley Won the loose ball and had the initial shot that led to the goal. Not much after that granted but his contribution to the goal was meaningful
@ChrisWo30990144 Your point is broadly spot on and people wanting him sacked need to give their heads a wobble but you can’t keep going back to last season and the season before. He should be judged on the here and the now. He’s met expectations so far this season but we’re struggling right now
@RyanMason149224 Out of interest what do you expect him to do differently with what he’s got at his disposal? It’s not pretty I agree but he’s doing what’s needed to keep us in the division. If we try to play free flowing expansive football we would lose every week. He’s not got the players
So much better. Amazing what happens when you pick the right players and drop the ones that underperform constantly. Quality all over the pitch today #cafc
@cafc_luke_ I’m not in the Jones out camp but you can’t keep talking about the past.
He did a brilliant job last season, nobody disputes that, but it’s the here and now that’s the problem. Rigid tactics and loyalty to underperforming players is killing us
@CAFCofficial It’s amazing what happens when you put awful players like Anderson and Burke on the pitch and then play others out of position.
I’m absolutely not in the Jones out camp but everyone can see that the formation and personnel isn’t working and yet he persists with the same garbage
@RyanMason149224@natashaeveritt7 Whilst I get your narrative, suggesting Burke is some kind of improvement is baffling given his contribution when he did come on today
@AlstonCall56923 @ScottJHamilton@brayash24 In Ramsay’s defence he’s been shifted around that defence so often that he’s struggled with consistency since the red card at millwall. Jones dropped him initially and then he’s played RB, RWB, LWB and RCB as part of a back 5. I think he’s done well considering
@WilliamPerr0tt It’s not about turning on the players and manager, it’s about recognising underperformance and acting on it rather than just rolling out the same underperforming players week in week out and expecting a different outcome.
Definition of insanity type stuff
@Nozza_ He gets more stick because he’s a luxury player. Doesn’t tackle, doesn’t jump, doesn’t head, doesn’t win the ball back.
If that’s his game then he has to become supremely effective when he does have the ball and for the most part this season he hasn’t been.
@Thomas_2791@PompeyTdog Whilst I agree to an extent, the gambles were all in attacking areas. We’re a side built on a robust defence and we had Lloyd Jones then added Kaminski, Burke and Bell who are all proven Championship players. The spine of our team is full of Championship experience
