@SeattleWXGuy It's been a nothing burger for wind up here in my corner near Monroe (which is fine with me). But it's so warm still! It's just nuts. 69.4F on my Tempest. I do recall flying in one night a couple years ago... I think it was around 10. I was shocked how warm it was.

@wx_washington2 I had about 5" in a convergence zone event April 18th, 2008. Both at my house on the north side of Snohomish, and the house I had just closed on 3 miles north of Monroe. Also had thundersnow in Snohomish that day!

@SeattleWXGuy I was on a BA flight on final approach to Heathrow in 2023 when it was struck by lightning. There was a bright flash and it sounded like a thud, like someone dropped something heavy on the floor of the plane. Barely noticed. The captain came on and confirmed it was a strike.

@SeattleWXGuy As somebody who's traveled for business for 25 years... I will only stay in Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and some IHG (Holiday Inn) properties.

I realized over the years, it's just not worth the risk at fleabag motels... Sorry guys. Sometimes spending a few extra bucks is worth it!

@wx_washington2 had a bit of a breeze last night (3 miles NE of Monroe) and we only got down to 19° with snow on the ground. Nowhere close to the record of 6° I saw in 2008.

Snowing/snow pellets falling decently at my house for about 20 minutes now - 3 miles NE Monroe at 380'. Starting to accumulate on roads. Reported on mPING. @NWSSeattle #wawx
