One Chance - Spent a weekend in one of the darkest locations in Central Florida. 2 out of the 3 nights were cloudy. My equipment didn't work properly. This is the best shot of the Milky Way I could come out with. I'm better prepared for the next time I get the opportunity.

I've Been Attacked! - As much as I photograph wildlife, I've never been attacked...until now. Mocking birds protecting two of their babies. These parents are very aggressive. I was afraid if I didn't put my camera up, they would have pecked my eyes out.

Small Package, Big World - This is a Florida Box Turtle. Like all box turtles, they have a specialized "hinged" lower shell . This allows them to pull their limbs completely inside and seal up tightly like an Amazon box to protect themselves against predators.
