@hoosier4lyfe@hoosier7681 I think you’re getting mixed up and jumping into the conversation that I had with the other guy.
I have no interest in talking about politics with you.
@hoosier7681 Dolson is a wonderful guy. So was Fred Glass. McRobbie is too. Heck even Herbert was nice at times even though he was incompetent. Pam is neither smart or nice.
If you want to believe this little utopia in your head, be my guest.
@hoosier7681 If you don’t think the athletic Director finds candidates, you’re a fucking idiot. That’s his job. Go look it up. I’m not making this up kid.
@hoosier7681 I’m friends with Dolson. He was happy with both presidents. They both allow him to do his job. The difference is the rest of the university is not happy with Whitten because she is singularly focused on football.
@hoosier7681 I do work for the school. It’s OK to admit you don’t understand the inner workings of the university. You can be happy about the football team. You can be happy about the coach. But you shouldn’t feel compelled to blindly assume the president has any part of the success.
@hoosier7681 Do you know how a coaching search works? The athletic Director is responsible for the search. You clearly don’t understand how university administration works. I work in the administration. AD finds candidates, makes his recommendation, and the president rubberstamps it.
@hoosier7681@hoosier4lyfe I’m talking about this thread. You two keep mentioning politics, but I haven’t brought it up once in this thread. I couldn’t give two shits about whatever whitten’s politics are. The fact of the matter is she’s bad at her job and you equate football success with university health
@hoosier7681 In fact, she has zero interest in running the academic part of IU. If she wants to be an athletic director, she should be an athletic director. Instead of being a bothersome president and trying to get in front of a camera whenever possible. Dolson found this hire. Not Whitten.
@hoosier4lyfe@EckDaddy@SethTow The president of an academic institution is not the owner of an NFL franchise. You may not understand this. He appoints an athletic director whose job is to run the athletic programs. The president has thousands of academic duties. Duties which Whitten has neglected completely.
@UndauntedBison@Texas_Hoosiers If she wants to be an athletic director, she should just be an athletic director. But for some reason, she wants to be president and give zero attention to academia (while harassing students).
