i think i just found the next BIG narrative after NEET. last month, a Cornell University researcher, J. Verhaegen, published a paper titled: “Youth Exiting Employment Trajectories (YEET): A Two-Dimensional Taxonomy of Labour Market Non-Participation Beyond the NEET Residual.” https://t.co/SfXnc2gZw5 he paper argues that NEET misses an entire category of people: low labour. positive income. people who aren't working a traditional job, but are still making money. they called them: YEET.
