@MAMASLAVV@ninoboxer It was on the news…. Days ago. It’s old news. Turns out most of the sentences in question did not get the enhancement in the first place, so it’s likely to be a minor change.
When he was our president, Donald Trump filed suit in 66 separate venues alleging that the 2020 election was corrupted. He presented literally zero evidence to support his case, and all 66 judges dismissed the charges, but he got his day in court...
Yesterday, he was indicted in New York by a grand jury of his peers alleging 34 separate violations of NY law. I can't pretend to understand the issues, BUT, He'll have his day in court. That's how it works.
@odiyos1001 @jimcramer The Madoff incident revealed overlapping interests among players in the investment industry. Certainly opened my eyes. The recent crypto incident showed cascading interests plus significant self-dealing. Much worse for crypto. Madoff does prove that regulation is not a panacea.
@BillWyrick3 @AdamVCuren @JoJoFromJerz …The new House theoretically can impeach the president, but it takes much more than a simple majority in the Senate to convict. Even House approval of an impeachment bill is very unlikely.
@BillWyrick3 @AdamVCuren @JoJoFromJerz Well, they can repeal the filibuster with a simple majority, as it happens. They still control the House for the rest of this term. Once the house goes into GOP hands, 51 votes gets lots of judges approved in the Senate…
@annieschulte I would offer you my thoughts and prayers, but that’s so much bunk. To you and your daughter, I say “you are not and never will be alone” Reach out if I can help.
