There's people LIVING IN FLORIDA who still argue Climate Change. Every year shit that never happened before rains down on them. It's like The Happening but slower...
Two things are clear:
1. It would be completely irrational and insane for the US to go to war with China.
2. The US is plainly preparing to go to war with China.
These two points can appear contradictory, but only if you first assume that the US empire is rational and sane.
@beinlibertarian Before 1913 people died of poverty in their old age, neglected in the streets. People got black lung. Children died of diarrhea. 1913 and before was absolutely terrible. That's why we ended up in a great depression and world war.
@_HollyChristine@LoveFromRonni I get the conflict but I also get that there often isn't a conflict. I didn't read the details but the office romance is going to happen and we need rules for that not scorn. Western obsession with "virtuosity" is ridiculous. Was there impropriety?
@RoseclimbpaintC Crypto is a monster sometimes. I oddly invested in a very stable time when I made little and lost little, in perspective. I'm glad it wasn't an impossible number for you. $4k hurts but not deadly.
