Shaming women for how their bodies change during pregnancy and postpartum is criminal. Yes some women don’t take care of themselves and are to blame for the aftermath, HOWEVER a lot of what your body does is out of your control. It doesn’t mean not to workout, take care of your skin, and eat properly.
What it does mean is you can do everything right and still gain a lot of weight, have loose skin, and stretch marks.
Good news is you get a beautiful little baby out of it.
First photo, first baby. I had pancakes every day, workout everyday, and was religious with body oil. I gained about 30 pounds. Lost the baby weight in two weeks.
Second photo, I ate mostly meat and veggies, worked out every day, walked every day, took care of a toddler everyday, and gained 50. Lost the weight in about a year, my thyroid was destroyed and not functioning at all.
Third photo is from two days ago. I weigh less than I did before babies but still have loose skin on my belly in certain angles. I could gain weight and have tighter skin but I’d rather be leaner.
ANYWAYS. Stop with the shame. Everyone is on their own timeline.
