You're certainly not a statistician. 2 words: "Simpson's Paradox" is easily visible in that chart, because it does not correctly portray detailed, age-adjusted risk. The unvaccinated are 11 to 20x more likely to die from C-19 than the vaccinated.

@JayGree85650269 @drsimonegold Not true: the most ignorant thing I've heard all year. One cousin was a Marine and was perfectly fit. Another was a personal trainer and was fit. My 3 Uncles were all in their 80s, and my Aunt was 90+. All were active; driving had no significant illnesses. All were fine B4 C19.

One year and one disease have devastated my family. Without the vaccine, more than 3 million Americans could have succumbed to COVID-19.

@libertyF7R8 @drsimonegold That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a week on Twitter. The unvaccinated are 20-40 times more likely to die from COVID-19 than the vaccinated. It would be best to start reading academic journals instead of news reports that cherry-pick data to report.
