@ElmaRyder @A_New_Ireland The ignorance is unsurprising, but what is more striking is the vituperative personal abuse rather than attempting to engage with the argument. I have more than a little sympathy with critics of Israeli policy but using this to bully our dwindling Jewish community is shameful.
@ElmaRyder @A_New_Ireland Unlike her enemies I don't claim any expertise on her family, but my recollection was she did not claim to be Jewish, but to have Jewish ancestry on her father's side and to be in the process of converting. Mind you, for someone who isn't Jewish she attracts a lot of antisemites
@moderatedew@ericbradman1@rich_toronto A common logical fallacy is to claim International Law doesn't exist because it is routinely broken. Strangely in no other field of law is this argument advanced.
