@ScotlandSky@Snowy273 Whatโs is actually wrong with @CelticFC fans? First to take the high ground on most things but then canโt even win graciously.
@beith123@StopLying99 If indy is such a big deal, why did only 41% (and thatโs being generous) of votes go to pro-indy parties on the back of a campaign all about indy? That was after Swinneyโs failed attempt to use GE2024 as a de facto ref. Itโs not happening.
@SkyNews@cathynewman The last thing the UK needs is a PM who is even more of a left-wing socialist who thinks the solution to everything is tax, tax and tax some more. Itโs a complete economy killer. We also need a sensible and controlled approach to immigration and scale back on Net Zero.
@SkyNews@cathynewman Iโm not a Labour voter but I find it disappointing that less than two years into government a Prime Minister is likely to be replaced, with no prospect of anyone better or any alternative policies. All Iโve heard is tax the wealthy even more, thatโll work! ๐
@greer_alistair@theSNP Martin has done quite well out of Britain including many popular programmes on the British Broadcasting Corporation which most Nats seem to deplore. If heโs not in favour of the UK, perhaps British organisations shouldnโt be employing him!
@GMacdonaldSNP@TomEwing14 As @theSNP made the election all about indy (again) you would think that those who really wanted indy would have voted SNP to secure the majority. Only 25% of the electorate bothered to do that though so hardly a massive endorsement!
@Channel4News This is just one example of the UK and Scotland losing the plot. Itโs absolutely fine to make the transition to renewables. However, as recent events show, we still require O&G and should be exploiting the resources we have left to provide some security.
@BBCBreaking@BBCNews Yet another sign that we need to be more self-sufficient on oil and gas supplies. There is no excuse when we have untapped reserves on our doorstep. There has to be a balance between responding to the climate crisis and protecting the economy and stability of the country.
