How can we support and facilitate this women’s revolution? Words are not enough and gender issues need to move up the agenda. The silencing of an entire nation of women is a failure of the worlds. #UNWomen
@mariellaf1 The west is a disgrace to let this happen, I never understood the rush to get the American troops home, it was obvious to anyone with half a brain that the Taliban were just waiting to get back in control. What can we do to help these poor girls?
@StigAbell Hearing Aasmah was going to Times Radio was why I decided to try Times Radio 4 years ago. I have been a committed listener every day since, I will miss her in the morning but hope she will still be a member of the Times Radio team.
@alicepowell Hi Alice I have a place available in the Witney Motor Club team at Karun Chandhok's Charity Karting Challenge at Whilton Mill if you are available.

@mariellaf1 My radio friend was stolen from a well known Radio Station, her program was 1pm until 3pm. Police not interested but she is still missing. Jimmy.
@pow_rebecca@MattChorley@BrewhouseLive@TimesRadio Thanks Matt you proved to my other half I am not the only listener! Sadly no DAB for Times Radio beyond Staplegrove towards Bishops Lydeard. Travelling from Bicester on Thursday great reception until Staplegrove just as Jane and Fi came on, shame. Great show, both loved it.
@NationalHways Any chance of a campaign to make drivers overtaking in the middle lane move over to let the driver in the inside lane overtake the slower vehicle ahead of them? Some do, many don't. It doesn't encourage me to use the inside lane if I am going to get blocked in.
Litter is an entirely preventable problem. But people keep dropping it.
So our teams keep risking their lives every day to collect it from our road network.
Take a look at what Andrew, one of our litter-picking crew, has to say.

Today's Twitter Poll: Do you know a farmer (or food producer) directly, either as a customer or as a friend?
The aim is to testing how personally linked people are to UK agriculture.
PS Thanks to Jan_Mccourt for suggesting this poll.
@NFUtweets The public are more likely to be shocked by the actual numbers of sheep, lambs, cattle etc killed and maimed by dogs rather than monetary value, which probably doesn't mean that much to them.
