Wow, this is extravagant grace at a scale God provides. We all need it and we’re all impacted differently by it.
P.S. This is not a political statement or a character endorsement, I just love the way he put this.
I see your profile picture. That’s Johnny Cash. My hero too. Arrested seven times. Smuggled 668 amphetamines across the Mexican border in 1965. Took every drug there was and drank like I did. Cheated on his first wife. Slept with more woman than I ever did. Hit bottom in a cave in Tennessee in 1968 trying to crawl off and die. And then he got up. He got clean. He spent the rest of his life singing for prisoners and addicts and the people the country threw away because he knew he was one of them.
That was the whole point of the Man in Black. He wore it for the poor and the beaten down. He wore it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime. He wore it for the ones who never heard a word of Jesus. He wore it for the addicted and the dying. He wore it as a standing witness that no one is past saving.
You picked his picture. You did not pick his message. Try listening to the words.
Russell Wilson finished his career with 46,966 passing yards and 5,568 rushing yards.
To put that in perspective, no other player in NFL history has reached both 35,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards.
@geoffschwartz As a Seahawks fan who loves Russ, I agree with you. I think he had flashes of hall of fame play and didn't have as many opportunities as he could have but I don't think his career is small hall worthy.
What is your threshold for HOF? 1x+ first team all pro? 2x+ 2nd team?
Love how the #Rams are going about their business. Have said it many times.
But also…
@seahawks
Kept their core intact /re-signed big time play makers.
Added a STUD in J Price at RB with very little mileage on his legs via the draft that is an EASY 1K+ rusher with enough attempts.
Drafted one of the best playmakers in the entire draft on defense in TCU safety Bud Clark that is destined for stardom alongside Witherspoon and Emmanwori.
They will be there in the end. Again.
@cmikesspinmove I think I see what you're saying. Maybe the Bengals overvalued Mafe instead of Ben having bad Seahawks takes. It just kinda looks bad when you compare his thoughts to Mafe's contract but I get they're 2 different things.
@amandafromtx Interesting. He does sound similar to Driscoll.
I do think comparing a Sesame Street audience to a hyperbolic 14+ audience is inaccurate. It’s not the same thing.
