@ChromiumAtom@juegolvr I’m not really a tech guy so I don’t follow this stuff that closely. I thought most games on modern consoles could run either 4K / 30fps or 1080p / 60 fps.
@varien Splitting the difference between a midlife renaissance and midlife crisis by being a steady adult in a young person's life for the 23 year old I'm dating.
@mightydudbolt@WardoftheStates This basically says that she just liked that single shot of Han (which is admittedly a good shot) but ultimately agreed the scene should be cut for pacing. That's what a good editor does. This scene slows the film down and doesn't add anything that's not in the Greedo scene.
@ehyeahwhatever And if you’re so focused on the rights of the artist, what about the rights of Richard Marquand and Irvin Kirshner? George Lucas seemed entirely unbothered by their intent when he altered the films they directed.
@ehyeahwhatever You’re cherry picking his arguments. Artistic control was part of it, but he was clearly advocating that films should be preserved without alteration for the benefit of future generations.
@ehyeahwhatever “Attention should be paid to the interest of those who are yet unborn, who should be able to see this generation as it saw itself, and the past generation as it saw itself.”
@ChairmanAlex@OhioState Oh spare us the faux outrage. No one is more responsible for the incendiary rhetoric in this country than Trump himself. Stop acting like a boot licking cunt.
@apathyDEFI@2024dion Yeah, Cleveland’s endless urban and industrial decay really fares better by comparison. Hope you enjoy your 45 minutes of sunshine each year.
@atlanticesque Yeah, but at least some of that is intended as character growth. The Dwight in season 1 who picks the most draconian health plan is not the same Dwight in the finale who fires Jim and Pam just so they can collect severance.
