I’m absolutely committed to a Voice to our National Parliament. I believe it is a path to reconciliation. It’s about a simple idea: that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should have a say in decisions that impact them. I stand side-by-side with First Nations people.
Queenslanders have told me just how much of a help the $175 rebate was that we delivered off power bills last year.
I can confirm that this year's rebate will be even bigger.
It's only possible because we've kept Queensland's energy assets in Queensland hands.
What’s better than a morning coffee? One made by the Down Syndrome Queensland team using their own special brew. ☕️
It’s great to have the DSQ team, based in Stafford, here at Parliament sharing their coffee with members and staff from across the state. 👍
Great to join the Parliamentary Friends of Basketball to welcome NBL1 players and teams to Parliament. 🏀
A special welcome to Northside Wizards own Lual Diing.
It was great to be at St Anthony's Primary School this morning. 🏫
Always enjoy talking to Principal Mr Wilkie about the plans for the school and the future of our community here in Kedron. I appreciate his experience and insights.
This morning we saw another great example of real school leadership - Principal Abi blindsiding me to absolutely smash me with colour - all to make sure I fitted in with the kids!! 😆🌈
Thank you to Mr Beattie for the invitation to join these Padua College students for their Clean Up Australia Day activities.
I hope this inspires our community to join the clean up this weekend, but don't worry about Hickey Park or Bradbury Park as the boys have it covered!
Back at Stafford City Shopping Centre with Centre Manager, Sam, and Marketing Manager, Erin, to support the Centre's efforts in backing the fantastic charity Share the Dignity, which provides important and practical support for vulnerable women with free period products.
We’re back in Queensland Parliament for 2023.
It’s a great honour to represent our wonderful community here and I’m keen to get to work on important legislation.
With Cynthia Lui MP, Rob Skelton MP, @shanekingmp and @KimeRichards.
It was great to be back in person at the newly renovated hall with the Samaritans this morning.

It’s great to welcome so many new residents to our beautiful community. 🏡
As this time of year is one of the busiest for people moving house, this afternoon I’m signing a huge stack of new elector letters. 🖊
We’ve started building our 5,000th social home for Queenslanders - progress made, more to come.
There’s nothing more important than having a roof over your head, that’s why our government made a record $3.9 billion investment into social and affordable housing across Queensland.
Today I stopped in to congratulate and thank Leigh as she retires after 24 years at Wilston State School. 🙏
Often working diligently behind the scenes, Leigh helps to organise teachers, students and parents, and has worked closely with me and my office since I was elected.
