@jamiebhoy2009 I never found my seat and stood on the concourse for the full game which made me easy to find in the photo. We were there for 5 days having booked as soon as the final whistle went v Boavista and result aside we had a great time
@Stephen4_2 Took my copy with me to Canada and still refer to it now and again. Great work by Paul given it would have much harder to do the research back then
@albhoy67_16052@CollowWillie Celtic won Quizball in 1969 and 1970. Went out to Nottingham Forest in the 1st round in 1967 when Jim Craig was not in the team
@jamiebhoy2009@connorj67@joebloggscity It certainly does Jamie. It was always my view that they complement each other. I don't have a log in for the Wiki and I am awaiting feedback on when the latest updates to the Official site are done. As always, if you find any typos or gaps then let me know.
@jamiebhoy2009@connorj67@joebloggscity I messaged him a while back as there were problems with the Wiki in that I wasn't able to view match details. Seems to have been work done lately to correct it. I've got over 1000 updates to be added to the Official site but a lot of them will also be of use to the Wiki
@PaulJohnDykes @NeilDouganMedia Kenny Aird played in a pre season trial for Celtic on 4th Aug 1964. Jinky was sent off for thumping Kenny Aird on 23rd Sept 1967
@CSPScheme Your registration process is not working. I tried calling but a recorded message is saying there is no service today. How do I get this problem sorted?
Further research has been done to determine full names of reserve players included in the team. Celtic won 5-0 with Burns 2, McAlindon 2 & Whyte were the scorers. Score & scorers were in Edin Eve News & Herald 2/2
Another lesser known Celtic friendly match. Not a full team but interesting match all the same. The team includes some first teamers and other reserve players. The attached circular held by Eugene MacBride is the only team list 1/2
On Saturday November 15th at 12pm at St Peter's Cemetery Dalbeth, we will remember both Dan and John, and recount how they were never forgotten, in life & in death, by Willie Maley.
We are honoured to be able to celebrate both Celts and to tell a unique Celtic story.
