Welcome to the Alor Valley in Diaoyuan Ancient Village

Diaoyuan Ancient Village is located in Xingqiao Town, Jizhou District, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, 18 kilometers away from the city. The village was built in the late Tang Dynasty, which is inhabited by the descendants and the fellow clansmen of Ouyang Xiu, a litterateur and politician in Northern Song Dynasty. It is a thousand-year-old village of Luling culture with unique Jiangnan characteristics. There are more than 150 ancient Ming and Qing buildings preserved in the village, which can be called a living museum of Luling culture. Diaoyuan people have inherited the literary style and family precepts of their ancestors, and have been virtuous from generation to generation. There are 9 metropolitan graduates, 32 provincial graduates and 27 officials above the fifth rank in the government, which vividly demonstrate the ancient Luling cultural history. Diaoyuan Ancient Village has been rated as the first batch of traditional Chinese villages, famous historical and cultural villages in China, provincial ecological new countryside, provincial 4A rural tourist spots, national 4A tourist attractions, national ecological cultural villages, beautiful leisure villages in China, and the first batch of famous tourist village with "unique scenery".
In 2021, based on the original intention of preserving, understanding, and enhancing the fishing source, the government of Jizhou District adheres to the concept which is about bringing the convenience of modern life into ancient villages, and continuously explores new paths for the development of Diaoyuan Ancient Village through the integration of culture, tourism, and rural revitalization. Alor Valley, a high-quality operator, has been introduced to protect and develop Diaoyuan Ancient Village. Currently, 64 homestays with 97 beds have been renovated, and 30 business formats including Bili Ice Jelly Shop, Pottery-making Hall, and Intoxicating Diaoyuan Restaurant for dinner, have been established.
钓源古村·十里芳菲
钓源古村位于江西省吉安市吉州区兴桥镇，距城区18公里，是北宋文学家、政治家欧阳修后裔及宗裔聚居地。该村始建于唐朝末年，为独具江南特色的庐陵文化千年古村，村内有保存至今的明清古建筑150余处，堪称庐陵文化的活态博物馆。钓源人继承了祖辈的文风家训，代代贤良，这里共走出了9名进士、32名举人、27名五品以上官员，生动再现了古代庐陵文化史。钓源古村先后被评为第一批中国传统村落、中国历史文化名村、省级生态新农村、省4A级乡村旅游点、国家4A级旅游景区、全国生态文化村、中国美丽休闲乡村、首批“风景独好”旅游名村。
2021年，吉州区本着“不埋没钓源、不误解钓源、不淡化钓源”的初衷，坚持以“让古村走进现代生活”为理念，不断探索钓源古村“文旅融合+乡村振兴”发展新路径。引进高品质运营商十里芳菲保护开发钓源古村，目前，已改造完成民宿64间、97个床位，落地薜荔冰粉、陶道馆、陶醉钓源等30个业态。
