Police have dismantled a criminal gang that extorted money under the guise of "protecting the drama."

On June 16, under the direct command of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and the Cyber Security Corps of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, the Heyuan Municipal Public Security Bureau, based on clues and after in-depth investigation, carried out a precise operation to successfully dismantle a criminal gang led by Li Moujun that used online public opinion to commit extortion, and arrested 12 criminal suspects.

An investigation revealed that Moujun and his gang established an MCN (Multi-Channel Network) agency, registered under the name "Mou Culture Communication Co. Ltd. " This agency controlled multiple WeChat public accounts and Weibo accounts, boasting abtotal following of over ten million.

The gang employed online writers to collect and piece together various celebrity gossip, using an AI agent to control multiple influential accounts to post negative news during the airing of TV dramas and variety shows.

After the gang created negative publicity, the production teams of the relevant shows, under pressure, contacted Li Moujun to negotiate the removal of the posts. Li Moujun then used this pressure to demand that the TV drama streaming platforms or celebrity management companies purchase his so-called "protection of the show" service, refusing to remove the negative online posts otherwise.

The gang's "protecting dramas" service typically includes sending positive promotional posts about the drama, deleting previously published negative posts about related celebrities, and promising not to publish any more negative posts about the drama or celebrities during its broadcast.

The gang uses multiple influential accounts to create negative public opinion and coerce film and television companies into purchasing "protecting dramas" services, thereby extorting money through online public opinion.

The investigation revealed that the victims of the extortion perpetrated by Li Moujun's gang through their MCN agency included several well- known actors and distributors of numerous popular TV dramas. These individuals had already been sued for defamation by multiple artists, agencies, and film and television publishers. Li Moujun's gang severely disrupted the normal publicity and distribution order of the film and television industry, damaged the online public opinion ecosystem, and infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of producers (investors) and artists.

After thoroughly investigating the case, the Heyuan Municipal Public Security Bureau dispatched over 100 police officers to 8 provinces and 2 municipalities to arrest all 12 core members of the gang. Under interrogation, Li Moujun and his gang confessed to their crimes. The case is currently under further investigation.

We already said, we don't care who the ML is, if you want him to rest, protest at him or his studio to make him rest. Or continue your bad behavior because as far as I know Studio needs to guide fandom or the Artist will get reprimanded or restricted.

As far as I know Studio based on rules need to guide and handles his big fandom. Don't include Shuxin and our fandom on your Internal Strife.

Hate his manager or company, we don't care. We only care about Shuxin. This is an S+ drama if you don't want your fave to be in it then we don't force you to support it.

When he works with a minor, you said HMH had no choice in choosing. How could it YSX fault that he accepted this job.

Mind you, it's not us who lied. It's your fandom swinging you into different direction, making you think he didn't accept the drama. It's his studio who hide his schedule. His fansclub already knows he's in but still guide fans thinking he didn't and let them attack the fanclub and collegues. No one can make preparations within 1 week. They debunk them later on confirmed they're making preparations.

It's not our fault you guys are doubting now your own fansclub and having internal conflict. I don't care about your internal conflict. But don't make preparations like throwing eggs on her to redirect the hate on co-actor.

You keep rejecting actress that's being rumored with him in every drama. In Gongyu, you want to kick He Nan out, because you think she will not help in data. But the next thing, he was replaced. Next, you targeted Shuxin, because of your billing problem.

You always put your own idol in awkward situation. Did you think him and the studio are not getting reprimanded or warned about guiding fqns? Did you think studio posting is just out of whim? Or him posting many post in his supertopic out of sudden is for fun? You keep attacking the production and colleagues that have nothing to do with it. No one is pointing a gun on him when he signed. He is not a baby who can't make decisions.

You guys keep insisting Shuxin is a risky artist just to stop your idol from filming. You really want to bring everything in international space? You always try make us the villain because we didn't post what your co fans did.

You guys never stop here in X. Posting in FB as if HMH can't make decisions, trying to drag Shuxin as if she's HMH agency. You keep saying he was insulted by our side.
