🚨 HOW MANY MORE LIVES BEFORE RESIDENT DUTY HOURS ARE REFORMED?

FAIMA stands firmly with the residents of AIIMS Jodhpur following the tragic demise of Dr. Rajnaresh Yadav.

24–36 hour continuous duties, severe sleep deprivation, crushing workloads and denial of adequate leave—even when residents are sick—must never be normalised as medical training.
Residents are doctors, not machines. Illness requires rest and treatment, not pressure to continue working.

FAIMA demands enforceable national duty-hour limits, mandatory post-duty rest, adequate staffing, a fair sick-leave mechanism and institutional accountability.

Exhaustion is not training. Denying genuine sick leave is not discipline.

REFORM RESIDENCY WORKING CONDITIONS NOW.

🚨 FAIMA’S URGENT APPEAL TO THE HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER

How many more incidents before the system changes?

Ragging, assaults, harassment, inhuman duty hours and suicides cannot be normalised as medical training.
FAIMA demands urgent national intervention, enforceable duty-hour limits, zero tolerance for harassment and institutional accountability.
Doctors are not machines. Medical training must not cost lives.

🚨 STOP TURNING COACHING HUBS INTO DEATH TRAPS! 🚨

Team FAIMA has submitted an urgent representation to Hon'ble PM @narendramodi Ji demanding a nationwide crackdown on unsafe NEET-PG, FMGE, and INI-CET coaching centers.
Our future doctors cannot study in overcrowded, hazardous complexes and suffocating basements with zero fire exits. Temples of education must be safe spaces, not venues for condolence meetings!
Student safety is NON-NEGOTIABLE. 🛑✊

Latest Update on #NEETSS Counselling:

We have received information from our discussion with some @MoHFW_INDIA officials that the #MCC is initiating contempt of court proceedings against the Government of Tamil Nadu regarding the non-surrender of the 151 vacant Super Speciality seats.
As the legal standoff continues, the counselling process remains on hold. We hope for an immediate resolution to prevent further academic loss for aspirants.
