Just a reminder that I'm moving over to a place w/bluer skies so to speak. You can find me there, or @jinxed_starbyte on insta and yt

tbh I don't laugh at people for reaching for like symbolic meanings n shit anymore because i realized yeah maybe the author just meant the curtains were blue but somebody else thought it could mean more than that and that's beautiful
the jorge gutierrez situation is proof that being vocally anti-ai and standing ur ground does result in actual change. theres a lot of other public figures and companies who are attempting to get away with it even in subtle ways and we cannot become accustomed to this
I wish I could be like those non chalant artists that post without any headlines or # and dont reply to anyone but I love saying things and overexplaining and everytime someone shows the minimal interest in what I make I feel like a dog wagging its tail
When old heads hop on the AI bandwagon, it comes off to me sorta like "You'll never have the privilege to have the career we did, so why bother," packaged in a marketable statement of "We're excited to see what underrepresented stories we can tell using this new technology"...
If you need to partner with AI to get a greenlight on your project, it ain't worth it. I know it's super frustrating out there rn but nothing makes replacing your peers with automated garbo justified. Nothing. We gotta hold the line on this one or we're f*cked.
y’all genuinely have to lock in this year no discourse no ironic homophobia no dumb shit we gotta uplift the community and especially trans people right now
(1/2)The concept of literal titans who helped build and thrive in the entertainment industry giving into AI baffles me. Ya’ll worked in animation during its golden ages, ya’ll worked on/pioneered shows that inspired artists to want to follow in your footsteps and keep the—-
@RenRooked@Yas_per ofc! I thinks it's a really cool concept and it's crazy that I haven't seen anyone else do it. The execution is really amazing too, you really made them look like smth that would fit into a fantasy world! The theming too is so fun i love the options
I think if you want to support an indie project (even if they are popular/big) AND want them to stay free for everyone
You need to understand, Merch drops, ADs, Patron/Kofi, ARE A MUST
The artists are not being paid for their work. Fan support is what keeps the project going.
just watched the Gameoverse pilot and really enjoyed it :3 some parts definitely felt a little rushed, but that's to be expected in pretty much any pilot. I really hope this continues on into a series, I'm excited to see what they do with it!
Critique is being talked about a lot this week. I’m very pro critique. Most of my job is receiving critique and I’m a better artist bc of it. BUT it worries me that young artists are feeling like they need to listen to EVERYTHING random people online tell them
