@charliekirk11 ~~~
Beneath the noise of politics and debate, Charlie Kirk carried a quieter flame. He spoke of a God whose grace finds us in our weakness, of a Savior who meets the restless heart and offers rest. “I’m a total sinner,” he admitted, “and yet I fall into the arms of a merciful God.” That confession – honest, unvarnished – is the core of a living faith.
It's a faith that steadied him when the world was loud, that turned ambition into purpose, and reminded him that courage is born not of applause, but of trust in something eternal.
However history remembers his work, the most beautiful legacy may be this: a man who, through triumphs and trials, never stopped reaching toward the grace that first reached for him.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who had so much joy in his faith and tried, with all of his heart, to live as Jesus instructed. He believed with more joy than I’ve ever seen. If only everyone would have the faith that he had…he was a faithful servant, indeed.

He wore the badge like a promise once,
a gleaming symbol of purpose,
a path to justice he believed in with all his heart.
He wanted to protect, to serve, to make the world safer,
to be the man who stood for right
even when no one watched.
He was good at it.
Fair. Thoughtful. Calm when others panicked.
People trusted him; they believed in him.
And for a time, he believed in himself,
in the version of him that could carry the weight of responsibility
without it crushing him.
Until the day it all changed.
A gun, a threat, a choice he could not escape.
A life demanded to be taken to save his own,
and in that instant, something inside him shattered.
The man who had sworn to protect, to uphold,
felt a darkness bloom where certainty once lived.
The rules, the ideals, the clean lines between right and wrong—
all blurred into smoke and fire.
He survived.
But he did not return whole.
He returned angry, bitter, a man hardened
by the knowledge that life could demand impossible acts.
The calm he carried before
was replaced with suspicion and edge,
the laughter gone,
the tenderness muted.
He is not the man he was.
Not the man she loved.
Not the man who could walk through the world
believing in goodness without fear.
The self that once held the badge with pride
now holds only scars—inside and out.
Yet he still stands,
still wears the uniform,
still fights, still protects,
though the fight is no longer just for others.
It is for survival,
for keeping the shadow from consuming him entirely,
for proving to himself
that some part of the man he was
can endure, even as everything else has changed.

I do not love him anymore.
The man I knew—the one who could make me laugh,
whose touch felt like home—is gone,
erased by the weight of his anger,
the storms he carries and dumps upon me
without warning, without care.
He has shattered the heart I once offered freely,
turning it into a quiet, cautious thing
that no longer leaps at his presence,
that no longer aches when he smiles.
I have mourned him, over and over,
the man I lost even before he disappeared entirely.
And yet, I stay.
I stay because of the small hand that reaches for him,
because of the bright, trusting eyes
that see only love,
never the fury, never the sharp edges I endure.
He is a father like no other I have known:
patient with homework,
silly with tickles,
unfailingly present in the ways that matter.
In the eyes of our child, he is whole,
heroic, indispensable.
I stay because love for him is gone,
but love for our child is unbroken.
I endure the anger, the silence, the bitterness,
because to protect this fragile joy,
I must carry what I cannot forgive.
I am the keeper of the home,
the buffer against his storms,
the shield for our child’s innocence.
I do not love him.
I never will again.
And yet, I offer him the respect of my presence,
the structure of our shared life,
the stability he cannot yet provide for himself.
It is a strange, aching sort of devotion—
not passion, not warmth, not desire—
but necessity.
I am here,
and I will remain,
not for him,
but for the life we brought into this world together,
for the man he can be in the eyes of our child,
even if he will never again be the man I once loved.

This is my second drawing of the incredibly talented and beautiful Ibrahim Celikkol, made on behalf of my friend Cris (@semper.fi.ibo.portugal) and her legions of followers and fans. And a special shout-out to turk_dizi_ev —- she and her fans are steadfastly loyal to Ibo also!
Ibo’s so easy to draw —- his every feature is a work of art already!
My friend Cris @semper.fi.ibo.portugal can be so wonderfully persistent!

@ibrahimcelikkol and @Cris180178 ~~~
I accepted a challenge from your favorite IBO instagram poster—@semper.fi.ibo.portugal (@Cris180178)—to complete a drawing of IBO --- preferably from his role in GADDAR.
This drawing captures IBO in his role as Korkut Zakkum from the series Gaddar—a man whose name echoes through the underworld with fear and respect. His expression is steely, his gaze razor-sharp. He doesn’t need to raise his voice to command a room. Every line in his face speaks of a hardened past and a man who never backs down.
Yet beyond the ruthless exterior, this portrayal also reveals Korkut’s rugged allure—his tousled hair, the shadowed scruff along his jaw, and the worn leather jacket that hugs his broad frame - suggesting a man who’s not just feared, but fiercely admired.
Whether you're drawn to his cold dominance or his dangerous charm, this drawing (hopefully) offers a glimpse into both the brutality and the raw magnetism that defines Korkut Zakkum -- AND Ibrahim Celikkol. I hoped to show both sides of IBO/Korkut so that everyone will be satisfied!
