@simonso15792314 @Based_Scotsman The parapet probably dates from construction of the bridge and doesn’t provide the containment required for a car that modern parapets provide and a risk assessment would probably have recommended the parapet replaced or a crash barrier installed in front.

@tvark Lionel was a family friend when we lived near Saffron Walden. We watched the Railway Children at his house as children. It is nice that what would have been his centenary is being remembered today.

I struggle with Celestial being allowed to perform on #BGT. They are clearly a commercial business but are not obvious to find on Companies House so it is impossible to check how commercial.

@supertolerant We were taken out for meals as a treat. Restaurants for birthdays and fast food every blue moon and we looked forward to it. We rarely ate takeaway food.
