Basically, just because I grew up with a franchise I love doesn't mean it's exempt from criticism. I'm not going to let Nostalgia blind me to let a lot of things slide.
Pokemon is just one of those franchises that will succeed despite the obvious problems with the quality of the games.
It's weird that I played gens 1 to 8 and yet I am not one of those people who just let things slide just because I played Pokemon during my childhood.
Seeing someone and learn to get good at games is a rarity nowadays. Some think that you just be naturally good at playing games, but really it's loads of trial and error that helps a lot to get better at it.

Friendly reminder. Certain Devil May Cry "fans" were ok with complete Lady replacement in reboot, but can't handle a slightly different version of her in animated AU adaptation.

They had no reason to tone down the sexiness of the women. All this BS of "Women don't wear bikinis in a fight" where you have shirtless dudes tearing each other limb from limb.
Clothes and armor don't matter in a game where people get sliced like paper!
