El primer pacient trasplantat de fetge a Espanya va ser en Juan Cuesta, un mecànic de la SEAT nascut a principis dels anys 30 a Càceres i resident a Catalunya des del 1956, que estava afectat per un greu tumor hepàtic.
Després de 12h, la intervenció va ser tot un èxit. 👌👌
