@Tarkindoctrine@therealrebulous@theliamnissan Different how? Entitled? To what? Everything I worked for? You bet! No time for fretting. Packing for my next vacay. The ones I didn’t take because I was working instead of whining. You should try it. The sense of accomplishment is something no one can ever take away.
@Tarkindoctrine@therealrebulous@theliamnissan Screw you. We paid for our kids to go to college. Didn’t ask for a single hand out. Didn’t ask for anything from the generations before us. Get your lazy ass off your high horse, quit whining and be responsible for yourself. I plan to spend my years and my money on what I want.
@washghost1 In the late 90s cell providers were giving phones away. The plan was to subsidize the equipment, get the user hooked, revenues for usage poured in. Customers wanted more. More tech, more time. They are still subsidizing the equipment, but not as much.
@Tarkindoctrine@therealrebulous@theliamnissan@Tarkindoctrine, Boomer and proud to be. We didn’t worry about work/life balance. We believed in work/sacrifice/save to have what you want, and now we do. The thought that we are somehow owing Millennials anything, or are relying on them to “take care of us” is ridiculous.
