Fantastic Triple-A debut for Brandon White.
5 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, 81/55 P/S
Mixed nicely with fastball/slider combo. Fastball showed plus-plus potential and held velo through the start. Changeup flashed plus vs LHH.

Found this in my notes from 2020:
High school baseball players with hopes of playing in college, here are some things you NEED to hear and if you’re upset by this in any way you need to humble yourself very quickly. Trust me I’m trying to help you.
1.take your jewelry off. Your chain doesn’t look cool, your earrings don’t make you look cool. You know what’s cool? NOT being a hey look at me guy. Let your game talk. Once you hit 30 homers in the big leagues, buy a chain. Until then, stay humble.
2.Stop pouting and looking at your coach if the umpire makes a questionable call. The umpire didn’t make you foul off the good pitch to hit you just missed the pitch before. Show some damn toughness.
3.The easiest way to keep you on the bench is for you to pout and not be encouraging your teammates success. Hoping somebody fails so you look better is for losers.
https://t.co/8JPIgE885P better hit .400 if you’ve got more gear than a big leaguer up there with an elbow guard and shin guard and every gadget in the world to look important. Maybe get stronger and I promise the 72mph fastball you’re protecting yourself from isn’t going to kill you.
5.If you’re an infielder and you can’t make 9/10 routine plays, you better get two hits a game. If you can’t do either, you can’t play. If you can’t reach first base from whatever position you play, you don’t have a position.
6.If you’re an outfielder and you can’t catch a fly ball OR hit a cutoff man, you can’t play
7.If you don’t know how many outs there are you can’t play.
8.If you don’t know what the signs are, you can’t play.
9.If you know you’re not the fastest kid on the team and you get the steal sign, you better know how to get an aggressive primary lead AND how to get good jumps or you guessed it, you can’t play.
10.If you have an answer for everything because you know more than your coach, then you can sit right beside him and watch the game while the players that are coachable get a chance to play.
11.If you’re a pitcher and you think you have three pitches but can only throw one of them over the plate, you only have one pitch. Pitchers with one pitch are pretty predictable. If you can’t throw two pitches for a strike, you’re not a pitcher.
12.If you can’t diagnose and apply in-game adjustments you can’t play.
13.Being good on the field is cooler than pretending youre good on the internet.
14.If you haven’t seen the weight room in a month and can’t bench your own body weight, stop talking about college baseball. You don’t take it serious enough to make the necessary commitment to play at that level.
15.If you’re walking back to the dugout after your second K telling everybody that the pitcher sucks you’re worried about the wrong guy and you can’t play.
16.If you’re on the bench and talking about anything OTHER than the game and how to help your teammates you can’t play.
When you allow just 3 hits in 13 shutout innings, awards come your way!
Congratulations Tyson Guerrero, Texas League Pitcher of the Week!

Congratulations to Tyson Guerrero, the Texas League Pitcher of the Week for July 29th - August 4th.
Between two starts in Wichita last week, Tyson went 1-0 and did not allow a run in 13.0 innings of work. He only gave up three hits and struck out 11🔥

Clearly baseball is not fun for Wyatt Langford because he’s not showboating or pounding his chest or doing the Macarena around the bases like so many of the players the @MLB is promoting. Thank you for setting the example @langford_wyatt 👊🏻

RIP Coach Ron Brown. Centralia, WA 7-5-2024.
A great man who had a huge impact on the town and across the state. I was privileged to call him my coach and friend. 🙏🏼
I really wish that every committed baseball player across the country would band together and commit to playing Legion ball after they commit. Personally I think it would be so much better for everyone involved. The level of Legion ball would climb so committed guys would still be playing against other good players. A ton of families out there would save thousands. And then on the travel circuit, it would literally be all uncommitted players playing against one another, which would make college recruiters' jobs much easier.
