@ErlingRoIe This is exactly why Lalas is so hated by most Americans. I think it's pretty clear Haaland could be better than Zlatan with his current trajectory, but it's just something you don't say with the man standing next to you. Disrespectful, Erling would agree
@kaelenjones Because he was mid as a player and is a pretty awful pundit. Constantly talking about as if he was some monumental figure in US Soccer history when in reality people only remember him for his big red hair. I think the only people that genuinely like him are the MAGA cult
@frankmikesmith Unfortunately the issue is that the best players in the world have skill. Has nothing to do with their athleticism. Messi is considered the goat by many and he's a frail 5'7". You can be the fastest strongest superathlete on the planet and still get cooked by one glorious touch.
@Nowfootball As a Manchester United fan, Chicharito is the first that comes to my mind. But also the mighty Ochoa, who has had some epic world cup performances
@lbf_mas I mean brother they missed 8 FTs in a row and chucked up brick 3's nonstop. You can't act like that comeback was purely because of the Knicks playing well or you're in "youthful delusion" territory
@iinangelo USA is not great. We are ranked World #16 as of last week, but the top countries have a big gap on us. I would say root for USA, but just watch the games. You will certainly find a player, country, fanbase that gets you excited to see them succeed.
@MikeConti929@rjohnston4 I think the point is that many people will pay for a sports package that includes multiple channels, and having to buy an additional service that offers one league in one sport is a bad deal
@herculezg I would argue it was a great set piece. Basically a perfectly set screen and the ball placed just out of reach of keeper. We've gotten too used to watching Arsenal set pieces
@NickCRadio Just an absurd take. This is not 2022... he missed over 30 games this year to injuries, and these are not the first injuries of his career. Trading someone who was on the MVP shortlist this season for question marks...? Absurdity
@UtdTopCee I hope this dude finds success. Showed his quality at Inter, but basically melted under the pressure in Manchester. He deserves to show quality again and enjoy himself, like Antony
@bezly62@TheLateRunShow@BWPNINENINE@Raheemovic_@ochocinco "Chasing the ball?" Sure, you could run around all you want but you're not gonna touch it. Just like you could run around on a football field and be useless too. I think you're overstating the skill required to catch a ball, as someone who catches it with their foot.
@TheLateRunShow@BWPNINENINE@Raheemovic_@ochocinco I mean if you're comparing the two, you're more likely to have a soccer player have success, but there's like 1-2 positions at most that applies. An American football player trying soccer is just gonna be absolutely useless unless he played his whole childhood
