@OWHAuthor Also the ghost written memoirs.

@EJNickson1 Parenting teenagers. They're good at making you feel like a lazy piece of shit.

I never understood why Republicans were so anti government until I moved to a red state and experienced Republican led government. Ridiculous taxes, obscenely bureaucratic rules, even local school boards unable to function.

Government worked in my blue state. #BetoForGovernor

@virginiahartmn - your novel is beautiful, gothic, and intriguing. A beautiful debut that kept me turning those pages. Congratulations!

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@jaimiehunter I'd say that's none of their business, and including it opens you up to unfair and hurtful stereotypes without the opportunity to explain how amazing you are. I don't see it as hiding, but rather letting your work shine on its own. There's a ton I don't tell strangers.

@cmf_wright One of my beta readers for my second novel said “there’s really nothing else like it” and I was like … oh shit.

But I still found a great agent. You will too!

Nightcrawling by @leilamottley. One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Gorgeous and poetic prose about trauma and poverty. I want to bathe in this book.

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@EmmaLouG89 Yes. It’s slow going but it results in a better story for me. Everyone writes differently. Don’t let people tell you there’s a wrong way - they’re probably selling something.

@Allithewritaaa Congratulations!

I am happy for those who will benefit from loan forgiveness. But it’s so short sighted. I’d rather see tax money go toward eliminating interest and making college more affordable for everyone.

@onceupon_tanja I think my family has decided writing is a cover for my secret life in the mob, since no "book" has ever appeared.

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@JaniceKmk @_JoanDempsey_ I hit 200 pages yesterday and threw myself a little bitty party. Got to celebrate those small victories, especially before I cut the heck out of it and it's 150 pages again. 😄

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@JaniceKmk @dcprose @_JoanDempsey_ Thanks! How is your book coming? Are you done or still drafting?

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@JaniceKmk @dcprose @_JoanDempsey_ Hi Janice - I'm the third place winner. I wanted you to know your page blew me away. I can't wait to read your novel someday. Congratulations on a well-earned victory.

@LindsayHiller I think of my books as horror stories for women.

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]

@DarianneSchramm Congratulations! It's such an amazing feeling!

[Jennifer Lauren @Jlaurenwriter]
