🚨Thierry Henry on Kylian Mbappé.
🗣️ Thierry Henry: “People always talk about Mbappé’s pace and goals, but what makes him truly special is the belief he gives to everyone around him.
“France were 4-0 down, and most teams would have accepted defeat. Then Mbappé stepped up. He scored twice, demanded the ball every chance he got and suddenly the entire team believed they could pull off the impossible.
“When your best player refuses to give up, everyone follows. Dembélé became more dangerous, Barcola found more confidence and France started attacking with purpose. That’s leadership.
“The greatest players don’t just score goals—they change the mentality of their teammates. Mbappé did exactly that. He made England nervous and turned a finished game into a real contest.
“That’s why he’s one of the best players in the world. He doesn’t disappear when his team is losing. He takes responsibility, asks for the ball and carries the fight.
“France may have lost 6-4, but Mbappé reminded everyone why he’s always in the conversation for the biggest individual awards. When the pressure is at its highest, he still finds a way to produce moments that very few footballers can.”

It has been 4.5 years of emotions, incredible moments shared, ups and downs, happiness, sadness, stress, joy, friendships, meetings and meetings, projects, celebrations, jokes, disappointments, laughs, ideas… After living my life through you and loving you that much, it is very difficult to leave you @ToulouseFC 😔
Club and colleagues became my family who i already miss, Toulouse became my home while i was thinking my only home could be İstanbul.
We always tried to do our best and looked for ways to constantly over perform our budget/resources. While doing this, we might have been very pushy on everyone but everything was for the best of the Club. I wish we could have had a different business model, kept our players for longer (especially the Pitchouns) and slightly bigger budget to dream a lot bigger for this beautiful city and for “la meilleure tribune du championnat”.
I hope to visit the new training facility one day; a project everyone at the Club spent huge amount of energy on. Personally, the day we had to stop the construction was one of the most disappointing days for me at the Club.
Me and @DamienJComolli , we always saw TFC as our baby: try to raise it with care & love and to protect it and we are now leaving at the point that we are convinced it turned into a charming adult.
It will always be “chocolatine” for me and now i can sing the “Se Canto” as i am doing before every home game with my Occitan French accent. And we have our 6 month “Pitchoun” with us. 👶 🥹
For a long time i have been living my life in English and French but when it comes to the things touching my heart deeply, Turkish always takes over.
So, as the song says: Bir menekşe kokusunda💜, bir bebek özleminde🤍…
Au revoir ma violette
