$100 million would be absolutely ridiculous. How can you set an auction that will likely raise an enormous sum of money (even if it’s over $2m) and have most information be labeled as “soon to be revealed”. Hope this project is genuine but that’s one hell of a trust fall…
Quite a few people have messaged us about our opinion of @fRiENDSiES_Ai and their Dutch Auction later today that could bring in over $100 million USD. They are afraid to speak out because this project is "shilled" by many big influencers. We will do a thread on this later today.
I love the innovation behind NFTs and would love to play a valuable role in the evolution of this space. That requires having a realistic mindset and not being a part of the hive mindset. We’ll all make mistakes along the way, but we must learn & expect better moving forward.
Before you mint something that costs $$ do yourself a favor and ask if there’s anything about the project that makes you believe there’s long-term value for holders.
So many projects are focused on providing value to the founders, not the community. Quit buying into buzzwords.
Too many existing projects or “influencers” are doing promotions with obvious cash grabs. If that’s the only way they provide value to the community then do yourself a favor and leave that community as soon as possible. No value to be found there.
@alig4194 I would have a look at @PLATOONDAO and @NFT_University_, both welcoming to newcomers with members more than willing to go the extra mile to help out newbies. Check them out.
@oxhead2021 @OwenOllie1 Yeah i think to combat this in a game that's an open world, the holders should have their unique avatars (assuming that's the collection) and maybe some minor boost (e.g., 5%xp boost) but nothing that would discourage others from playing. Non-holders then have a generic character
@OwenOllie1 Additionally, the visual quality and physics in the games will certainly need improvement. This take is based on what I've seen so far. I think the games that will succeed at this point in time are simple games (e.g., turn-style games, strategy games, etc) VR has a long way to go
@OwenOllie1 I think NFT gaming has a LONG way to go. The space is still so new, so I expect plenty of learning curves, but we're still far away from mass adoption of NFT gaming. NFT games will need to allow for non-holders to play in order for games to flourish. 10K users is a dead game.
Been joining a lot of top-tier communities lately. Excited to say that the latest is @Llamaverse_!
Let's not talk about how a top 1% rank was sold for the same amount I paid less than 2 minutes after... Still early in my opinion so I'm happy! #NFT#NFTs#NFTCommunity
