This isn’t about one deranged shooter.

This is about an ENTIRE malignant culture that made political violence inevitable.

Now @shellenberger says it’s time for those responsible to be held accountable.

I am grateful to Governor Spencer Cox, Utah law enforcement, Kash Patel, and the FBI for giving this case the time, resources, and hard work it deserved. This is a big breakthrough, and everyone who helped--from the law enforcement professionals to the people giving tips--deserves our credit and gratitude.

In some ways, the investigation is still in the early days. But I do believe we have the shooter in custody.

Say a prayer for Erika Kirk and those two beautiful babies. We took a big step this morning in getting justice for Charlie, and for his family. Thanks be to God for that.

He thought he could get away with it. He made a plan. He used a disguise. He escaped the campus. But it is impossible to run forever!

Now, he will be tortured in a small cell for the rest of his miserable life. He will have unspeakable things done to him behind those bars, by inmates and gaurds, for what he did to a young father and a good man.

After decades of stress and pain and anxiety with not even a moment of relief, he will face the ultimate penalty and be executed by the state. Then spend the rest of eternity in hell. He decided a political ideology was worth all of that.
